KDA is hosting HomeField Advantage Virtual Conference focusing on federal infrastructure funding

Kansas Dept. of Agriculture (KDA) is hosting a virtual federal infrastructure funding Zoom meeting on Oct. 15, 2021. See more information from KDA below.

The Heartland’s economy – and our nation’s economy – relies on agriculture, transportation and technology industries working well together.

With the focus on federal infrastructure funding, now is the time for our region to identify partnership opportunities and regional strategies that generate game-changing results for generations to come.

The HomeField Advantage series is an opportunity to learn from each other and plan how to leverage our regional strengths.

Maximizing investments in state infrastructure requires multistate and public-private sector partnership. Join the first virtual interactive discussion on October 15 to identify potential pilot projects focused on:

· Driving down the cost of transporting ag products

· Improving access to carbon credit markets and other economic opportunities

A follow-up in person conference is planned for February/March of 2022 to build upon the ideas generated in October and to provide implementation workshops.
