Kansas Grain and Feed Association (KGFA) values individual privacy and wants to give our website visitors the opportunity to know what information we collect about them and how they can limit the use of personally-identifiable information beyond the purposes for which they first provided it.

For the terms of this policy, Kansas Grain and Feed Association and its affiliate and, or, subsidiary websites, mobile applications and digital assets shall hereby be referred to as, ‘KGFA Website.’

By accessing the KGFA Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and its terms, accept them, and agree to be legally bound by them. Information Collection

Information gathered from visitors to the KGFA Website may include the visitor’s IP address, browser type, referring page, the time of the visit and event registration or product purchasing information. Cookies may be used to retrieve visitor preferences while interacting with the website. When the use of the KGFA Website requires registration or completion of forms in order to participate in activities associated with KGFA personal information will be collected and retained by the organization.

How do we protect visitor information?

Our KGFA Website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our KGFA Website as safe as possible.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

All credit card transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

In order to help enhance the performance and functionality of the KGFA Website, we utilize session, persistent and third-party “cookies” that store a small piece of data on a users’ computers and collect certain information about the users’ visit to our KGFA Website. We also use cookies to understand users’ browsing and buying activities so that we can measure the success of online advertising campaigns we run on the KGFA Website. KGFA works with a third party vendor to provide a more customized experience for you. To do so, we disclose personally identifiable information about you (specifically, your email address) to the vendor, though we do not allow it to re-sell or use that information for its own purposes.

If you are a resident of a European Territory, you have the following enhanced rights and modes of executing them through KGFA:

  • If you wish to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal information, you can contact us via email (membership@kansasag.org). You can further object to processing of your personal information or ask us to restrict processing of your personal information.
  • If we have already collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw or modify your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent. You can withdraw consent for us or our partners to drop our tracking cookies and our partners’ cookies by contacting us.
