12 Aug KDA Permanent Grain Warehouse Regulations published in Kansas Register
On August 11, the Kansas Dept. of Agriculture finalized its new grain warehouse regulations and published the final regulations in the Kansas Register.
The changes to the regulations were made, in part, to implement recent changes to the schedule of public warehouse license fees set out in K.S.A. 34-228, as well as to implement current industry policies and practices and to provide more detailed guidance for grain warehouse requirements. During a July 22 public hearing, Kansas Grain and Feed Association and the Kansas Cooperative Council jointly submitted comments on the regulations.
