KGFA Awards Nearly $30,000 in Scholarships to Kansas Students for 2026-27 Academic Year

The Kansas Grain and Feed Association is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026-27 scholarship program, awarding nearly $30,000 to 19 graduating high school seniors from across Kansas.

This year’s scholarship committee reviewed more than 250 applications from outstanding students planning to continue their education at Kansas universities, community colleges and technical schools. Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and geographic representation.

The success of the scholarship program is made possible through the continued support and involvement of KGFA members, who serve on the scholarship committee and help ensure the industry remains invested in the next generation of leaders.

“One of the greatest strengths of our industry is its commitment to investing in people,” KGFA President and CEO Ron Seeber said. “These students represent the future of Kansas agriculture, business and rural communities. Thanks to the support of our members, KGFA is able to provide meaningful assistance as they take the next step in their educational journey.”

KGFA annually awards 18 scholarships valued at $1,500 each and administers the Dub and Inez Johnson Memorial Scholarship, valued at $500.

Since 1976, the association’s scholarship program has helped hundreds of Kansas students pursue higher education and career opportunities. The program remains one of the many ways KGFA members support education, workforce development and the long-term success of the grain and feed industry.

Thank you to the members who volunteered their time to review applications and select this year’s recipients.
