25 Sep KGFA announces virtual scholarship auction for 2020
Despite cancellation of the 2020 Kansas Agri Business Expo, Kansas Grain and Feed Association (KGFA) will still be raising money for its scholarship fund with a two-week online auction beginning at noon on Monday, November 16, 2020 and ending at noon on Tuesday, December 1.
“Our scholarship committee and board of directors recognize the importance of the annual auction to our scholarship program’s ability to assist students in pursuing their educations,” KGFA President and CEO Ron Seeber said. “Although we aren’t able to gather in person this year and hold the auction, we are pleased to still be able to raise money online to help our future workforce.”

The KGFA scholarship program annually assists nearly 20 students pursue post secondary educations, and has awarded more than $100,000 to assist students studying industry-related fields since its inception in 1976.
“Thank you for your continued support of graduates who aspire to stay involved in the agriculture industry,” said Rylee S., a 2019 KGFA scholarship recipient and K-State student. “Your generosity inspires me to one day give back to my community. Scholarships such as this are one of the main reasons I am able to afford Kansas State University. I appreciate receiving this scholarship as it will allow me to focus on my education and not worry about the financial burden of tuition.
